DEEP TISSUE

Deep tissue massage focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue and is typically slower and more intense than other types of massage.

Techniques include the use of deep finger pressure, slow movements and specific techniques such as trigger point therapy or myofascial release.

This results in, among other things, the relief of chronic muscle tension and pain, improved range of motion and reduced muscle pain.

If necessary, the head, neck, back, arms, legs, hands, feet and abdomen are treated.

Back Release

This massage focuses directly on the back, neck and shoulders. These muscles are the most often tense muscles for many people.

Causes of this could be:

  • Sedentary work

  • Repetitive movements

  • A bad attitude

Using Swedish massage techniques and trigger points, the tension points are found and the area is massaged to restore blood circulation. This massage provides pain relief and restores balance to the body.

Drainage Lymphatic

Massage aimed at draining the lymphatic fluids that store toxins and waste products in the body, thus preventing cellulite and promoting the body's recovery.

For example, in case of swelling or poor circulation.

Benefits besides the relaxing effect are that the body is brought back into balance and joint pain is relieved.

This includes the back, arms, legs, hands, feet and abdomen.

Cupping Therapy

Chinese technique of suction cups are applied by means of a suction pump creating negative pressure, bringing direct oxygenation to the muscle offering a sensation of relief and muscle relaxation.

Preparation: The therapist applies oil or lotion to the skin to make the cups easier to slide.

Movement: Depending on the technique used, the cups can be left in place or moved along the skin using oil to facilitate gliding.

Removing the Cups: After a few minutes, the cups are removed, usually leaving temporary marks on the skin from the suction. These marks typically disappear within a few days.

Hot Stone Massage

Hot stone massage is a type of therapeutic massage where smooth, flat, heated stones (typically basalt stones) are placed on specific parts of the body. The therapist may also use the stones as an extension of their hands to massage muscles more deeply and effectively.

How it works

  • Stones are usually heated to about 50–60°C (120–140°F).

  • Common placement areas: spine, back, palms, legs, feet.

  • The warmth of the stones helps muscles relax quickly, allowing deeper manual techniques with less discomfort.

Benefits

  • Improved Circulation
The heat promotes better blood flow, aiding in oxygen and nutrient delivery to muscles.

  • Stress and Anxiety Reduction
Deep relaxation during the treatment can significantly lower stress levels and promote a calm mental state.

  • Better Sleep

  • Clients often report improved sleep after a session, thanks to reduced tension and improved circulation.
